Designed to evoke a farmhouse lifestyle, Gurjeet Singh Matharoo’s ‘Pool Office’ is an ode to Live+Work+Play as part of your daily routine. An openable skin of galvanized sheet louvers hugs the studio giving its occupants a degree of privacy and shelter from the harsh elements in Ahmedabad. The front section is an inviting lap pool that the team uses to unwind, while the main studio in the middle opens onto a lush garden. #LiveWorkPlay series presented by Duravit.

Built on a site of 900 sq. meters, the work space has been divided by two parallel walls along the plot’s length. This master piece in cast-concrete also has many playful elements that include a 1-Ton moving bathroom wall that is is just one of the few examples of Gurjeet’s witty and intriguing architecture!
