Ravi Kumar Gupta and Associates has woven significant architectural traditions with every modernist icon of a luxury resort to give you a nonpareil holiday destination. Spread over 25 acres the resort has the audacity and scale of a historic Rajasthan design - it is well executed and follows the architectural lines of the Bikaner fort.
One is actually able to read the time gone past in the near perfect representations of an age-old design. A marriage of yellow Mundra (Jaisalmer) sandstone and white Makrana marble gives birth to the most detailed rambling and generous spaces. Architect Ravi Gupta uses intricate filigree-work extensively throughout the resort.
Each guestroom is accessorised with original, rescued and carefully restored artwork and antiques. The cosy yet elegant interiors are the handiwork of the company Design Dimensions, who handled the execution with a consummate bravado employing only local artisans. A magnificent landscaped courtyard surrounded by beatifically filigreed sandstone walls becomes a gathering spot.
