Contemporary in thought and appearance, K R Choksey’s office turns a new leaf with the design of S+PS Architects that strikes a perfect balance of class and functionality. When the finance firm thought of upscaling their family business into a corporate enterprise, they zeroed in on a 7,400 sq.ft office space on the top floor of a building in the Mumbai suburbs. When S+PS Architects got down to work, the first move was to usher in a graphic designer, Baarish Date and a brand consultant, Rutu Mody, who unearthed and then emphasised the core values of ‘safe-secure-growth’, in their corporate logo. Simultaneously, they ensured that the interior design would reflect this core philosophy of the firm. Six months of planning and designing and another six months of working on-site went into turning this dream into a reality.
