If your heart longs for tales and hearty meals from different countries, The Travellers Restaurant in Pune is the place to visit.

The constant development of hospitality in the world wrt design and presentation has been generating a lot of interest in the younger generation. The Travellers Restaurant in Pune was started keeping in mind the needs of this outgoing and energetic generation, which wants to travel and discover more.

Located on a terrace, away from hustle and bustle of city life, the place was planned to inspire people to take the road less travelled. The design team of Prashant Kulshreshtha, Etisha Jain and Priyansh Sharma have done a splendid job of transporting guests to a world filled with wanderlust.

The blue wall next to the main staircase is adorned with photographs of famous travellers and travel bloggers. Filament bulbs highlight the place. The entrance lobby has two single pine sofas and a two-seater steel sofa with red cushion. The lobby is nestled behind a book shelf that has the most amazing coffee table books on travel. One is greeted with a world map as you enter the restaurant.

Inside the restaurant, the walls have creepers and flags and photographs of different countries. The central buffet counter is highlighted with cement jaalis that light up in the evening. The chairs are specifically designed to match the jaalis. There are four cabanas at the end of the restaurant.

The washrooms are tucked away in the corner of the plan. The kitchen is set up in an area of 1,200 sq. ft. The elegance of the plan can be measured by the non-visibility of these service areas. While enjoying their meals, guests do not see the kitchen or washrooms.

The restaurant, inspired by various cultures, styles of architecture and varied use of material, is worthy of the global traveller.
