Ever heard of a space that multi-tasks as per your requirements? And at the same time sports a classy and tasteful ambience. The architect team of Atelier dnD has raised the standard a notch higher with their design for a Mumbai residence. The very first requisite that the clients had put for Shobhan Kothari, Anand Menon and Parul Sigtia was that they wanted the designers to create space in one of the bedrooms that can be freewheeled into being an entertainment room or a guest bedroom or simply a nook to hang out it. Undoubtedly this bedroom was the most challenging part for the designers and to interweave all the said aspects with the foreground of minimalism gave a right tug to their creative strings. And what evolved was a space that changed face with the push of a sliding door. Yes, the design team used sliding partitions to create interchangeable spaces and yet made each room stand apart with its individuality.
